Jennifer Owen and I formed the Owen/Cox Dance Group in order to present our original music and dance collaborations. Jennifer brings to the group her extensive international experience with the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Russian State Ballet, National Ballet of Turkmenistan, Hong Kong Ballet, as well as seven years dancing principal roles with the Kansas City Ballet.

Formed in 2006, the company presented its debut performance in April, 2007, to enthusiastic crowds and critical acclaim. The group's long-term goal is to present a regular performance season of three to four productions per year, and to develop education and outreach programs that extend music and dance to children and underserved audiences in the community.
