Owen/Cox Dance Group Jennifer Owen and I started the Owen/Cox Dance Group in 2006. It is surely the most enjoyable and artistically fulfilling project in which I have ever participated. Please take a look/listen.
Tzigane The Tzigane label represents The Brad Cox Ensemble, Tango Lorca, Lidia Kaminska, The Granner/Bledsoe Duo, The Bill McKemy Quartet, and The Sandomirsky/Bledsoe Duo.
Jeff Harshbarger Jeff plays bass for any project I have that needs a bass. Jeff leads his own jazz quartet and produces a new jazz series at the Recordbar in Kansas City. I can't possibly keep track of the many jazz and rock groups that Jeff plays for, so visit www.jefharshbarger.com to get all the names and numbers.
Tango Lorca An Argentine tango group I played with a few years ago. Very fun--even though a lot of the music makes people cry.
Ko-Arts Korey Ireland formed the non-profit group Ko-Arts to help promote music and dance in Kansas City. Korey is a composer, recording engineer extraordinaire, international tango instructor, and the nicest guy in the world.
Krystle Warren and The Faculty Krystle is a great singer and songwriter with a great band. If you haven't heard her yet, you should visit her site right now. Krystle and I have worked together on arrangements for some of her songs, and I've been lucky enough to have her sing on a few Brad Cox Ensemble shows and recordings.
Jake Blanton One of my favorite guitarists, as well as a great singer and songwriter, Jake leads his own quartet, plays with a number of the best jazz groups around Kansas City, and, when I'm lucky, plays with The Brad Cox Ensemble.
Lidia Kaminska One of the best accordion players in the world--as well as being my personal opinion, this is backed up by numerous international awards. I've had the great pleasure of working with Lidia in The Brad Cox Ensemble and Tango Lorca.
Scotty McBee My favorite drummer, the inspiration for many Brad Cox Ensemble and jazzdischarge tunes, and the musician with whom I've had the longest musical collaboration, Scotty is also a great guitar player, singer and plays Gene Simons in a KISS tribute band.
Bill McKemy Bill is a gifted bass player and composer involved with practically all of the experimental jazz going on in Kansas City. He leads his own quartet, plays with the Malachy Papers and the Necessity Brass Band, and has lent his talents to a few of my performances and recordings. Bill also owns an old fire station and plays kick ass tuba.
